It is said that human beings comprise 70% water. This indicates how important water is for people to live healthy lives. It keeps the skin healthy, and soft, and cleanses any toxins that might be present in one’s body. The best part about water is that it’s free of any preservatives and/or harmful chemicals. Hence, it’s the best drink of all.

2. Vitamin D

Scientific studies have shown that despite having such a great source of vitamin D – the sun – many people have its deficiency. Having enough Vitamin D assists the body in regulating bodily functions while improving bone health, strengthening the immune system, and reducing risks of depression and cancer. You can check in with your doctor to know whether you’re vitamin D deficient or not, and the doctor will either suggest dietary changes or supplements make up for it.

3. Increasing Your Protein Intake

Protein is an essential nutrient found in lean meats, lentils, dairy products, and many other items. It’s advised that people consume it in an adequate amount since it is great for the body; it helps in cell regeneration, maintaining body weight, supporting bone health, and regulating body functions. The best part about protein is that it’s quite filling so it is a great counter against unwanted cravings!
